Instead of blogging, I’ve been working on a submission for this show. Every evening and the entire weekend for the last two weeks have been focused on this project. Creating the content, designing it, sourcing the materials, printing it, and AND finally assembling it is, uh, quite the time-suck. Maybe even a little crazy-making? Regardless, I’m happy with the outcome but I’m so spent, literally purged, I hardly know my name anymore. So teaser images are all I got for now. There will be more when I’ve reacquainted myself with myself, I promise you, because I’m sending the final photographed piece to my friend Meg to post on her new, about-to-launch blog. Yay, press! Thrilled.
HIGH FIVES.
It is BEAUTIFUL Margot. *Sigh*, I love it!
Margot, I am in AWE. Soooooo phenomenal and I’m so proud of you! I want! I want!
p.s. I luff that you have a copy of Rework poking out in that pic. Sigh. We are kindred souls (or at least I trick myself into thinking I’m cool enough to be a kindred soul with you).
Girl, you’ve known me half my life. I think you’re more than qualified 🙂 And yes, Rework served as a huge inspiration for this project. Best business book in the world!
That looks great!!
Awesome! Did you use a laser printer to print it?
Hi Brandon! I actually used a…photocopier & screenprinting. A lot of the pages are blank actually, it’s part zine, part sketchbook with a few of my rambles sprinkled through out.
