+ You can text 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross in support of the Japanese earthquake (tear, sniff!) but processing of text-based donations is not timely and can take 60 to 90 days to be dispersed. Disasters obviously need more immediate support so donate directly through the Red Cross website instead.

+ Tonight’s dance card includes Power in Numbers, and international poster show curated by the Chicago Art Department, and a benefit for the Chicago Architectural Foundation. I can’t believe I will be squishing myself into heels and a cocktail dress at the end of this long, long week but who cares, it’s going to be funfunfun. Especially because I have Post 27 to thank for the kicky new threads I get to wear.

+ This might be the cutest Kickstarter project I’ve seen in awhile. My friend Amy Rowan (isn’t she cute?!) is trying to fund a trip to Gothenburg, Sweden for an Art Camp run by Camilla Engman. Supporters of Amy’s project will get original artworks made during the camp. I wish I’d thought of this idea, I’ve been wanting to go to Gothenburg ever since I heard about The Creator’s Inn, which is also there. Sounds like an incredible city! Good luck, Amy!
