Gasp and awe! The most obvious juxtaposition of urban + nature, yet I’ve never thought of it that way before. Consider my mind blown.
Jesse Graves:
These are by Milwaukee artist, Jesse Graves. Using mud he “paints” on his temporary message, only to have it wash away in the rain.
Anna Garforth:
Artist & designer, Anna Garforth creates beautiful site-specific work with found leaves, greens & bark. And I love her wacky upside-down milk jug planters. Gardening gone guerilla!

Awesome ideas and nicely executed! Love the moss wording especially.

I agree, the moss creates a complementary contrast
to the peeling brick wall – do love the humor in the jugs too….
might like one of those on my block.
I can feel a DIY project coming on!!! Seems like it would be fairly straight-forward, you’d just need a utility knife, some primer and paint, and a green thumb.
LOVE these, could see the mud grafitti as something to use as a project with inner city kids – the recycled containers too. The tree/layered hombre leaves one is very Andy Goldsworthy-inspired.
